Please join us this Saturday, November 3rd for a Day of Action to help pass a Better Bag Ban in Portland! We’ll meet from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm at the SE Lucky Lab (915 Southeast Hawthorne Blvd). All volunteers will receive a FREE Ban the Bag t-shirt & Surfrider pint glass! We’ll have a short orientation from Surfrider and Environment Oregon, then let you loose for a couple hours to canvass businesses in your neighborhood, write letters to City Commissioners, and garner support for expansion of the bag ordinance. After, we’ll meet back at Lucky Lab for complimentary beers and snacks!
