Portland Chapter's
Ocean Friendly Garden (OFG) team met at Pete's house on June 28 to plan its
rain garden demonstration project. With the help of Hannah Snyder of
Rain City Gardens, the chapter is installing two rain gardens that will collect and treat stormwater runoff. The project will culminate on
September 16 when we host a 'Work Party' to install the rain gardens. If you'd like to help with the project, please email Pete at pstauffer at surfrider.org and we'll get you plugged in. For more info on the

4. Determine the size of the rain garden
