With the nice weather we've been having, the Storm Drain Marking crew has been able to get back out on the streets marking storm drains with medallions to remind the public to keep toxics and other wastes out of the storm drains. This partnership with the City of Portland helps to keep our local waterways healthy.
On our May marking, the crew was able to mark a total of 46 drains, and left over 200 doorhangers on residences in the Penninusla Park Neighborhood in NE Portland. We'll be working in this area for the next couple of markings.
