Funding for Community Watershed Stewardship Program in Portland, OR

The Portland City Council voted 4-1 to fund the Community Watershed Stewardship Program for FY 2013. The program was not included in the Mayor's proposed budget, but the Portland Chapter and other local groups and citizens advocated for the program to be funded. The Chapter submitted formal written comments, attended a budget hearing, and many individual chapter members submitted comments online.
