The Portland Chapter is planning a rain garden demonstration project this summer and would like your help! On Thurs, June 28 from 6pm - 8pm we'll meet at Pete Stauffer's house (directions provided upon RSVP) to inspect the rain garden site, map the project area, and plan the installation (more info below). We'll also have a BBQ afterwards for anyone who can hang out.

a) General observation and mapping of site
b) Determine roof area draining for garden
c) Determine location of garden and existing slope
d) Assess soil and demonstrate perc test
e) Determine size and final location for garden
f) If time, create a list of supplies needed and begin plant/garden planning
