On Friday, Sept 12, Absinthe Films presents 'Ready' at the Hollywood Theatre. Admission is $7 and part of the proceeds will benefit the Snowrider Project of Surfrider Foundation. Doors open at 7:30 pm and movie starts at 8pm. The event is part of the Sphere of Influence Film Tour which takes a sustainable approach to bringing the anticipation of winter to local theaters. The evening will include special guests, prizes, etc. The Surfrider Foundation began the Snowrider Project in 1997 to create greater understanding of the hydrological cycle and foster a sense of stewardship for alpine and valley watersheds. The Snowrider Project in Oregon is working on a host of mountain issues in and around Mt. Hood.
