Join the Portland Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation for our first fall chapter meeting! We're excited to share the projects we've been working on over the past several months and ways you can get involved.
We're also hosting two guest speakers from Portland State University: Dorothy Horn (PhD student) and Britta Baetchler (master's degree candidate). Dorothy and Britta both research the effects of microplastics on Oregon coast habitats and organisms, and will be sharing their work on sand crabs and shellfish. Come with your questions about mircoplastics!
